Cat Grooming

• Cats are more susceptible to stress in new situations.  Cats by nature are not very outgoing, nor do they adapt easily to new situations.  Providing a stress free, quiet environment for grooming is essential.  
• Most felines do not like to travel in a car and are often car sick, as cats do not like to leave their home environment. Mobile grooming for your cat eliminates the need for car travel and reduces stress.  
• Yes, cats need grooming too!  How many times have you been told that "cats groom themselves?"  In reality, cats lick themselves and leave behind saliva deposits and dander that contain the allergen protein Fel-d-1.  By licking, this allergen is deposited throughout the cat's coat.
• Cats often have problems with shedding, hairballs, mats, tangles, dander, overgrown nails, dirty ears, greasy coats, foul odors, and tear staining.  Your cat will benefit from the help and expertise of professional grooming.  

STARTING RATES:

• Starting rates for a cooperative cat with good coat condition for a professional brush out to remove excess dirt and hair is $150.00. 
• For cats that require a lion trim or a shave, rates begin at $200.00.

• Additional fees may apply for: 
  • Cats that are severely matted requiring additional grooming time.
  • Cats that require special handling due to old age, health concerns, or behavioral issues, which again will require more grooming time.
